I don't really care about the World Series this year, but I'm pulling for Detroit because of one man: University of Richmond Hall of Famer Sean Casey.

I like Sean Casey and all (not sexually, like you), but I've stubbornly refused to jump on the Tigers Bandwagon. It's one thing to move to a state and start rooting for their team if the team sucks...but to me, there's no lower form of life than a fair-weather fan. It's gonna take at least another year.
Not that I care about the Cardinals either (although, to be fair, I never followed them during the season, and they're pretty good).

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm in no way a Tigers fan (I'm straight up O's 'n' Nats, bro) - I just like seeing a hometown boy make good.
The Cardinals I could give or take, so Casey gives Detroit the edge in this series.
But good for you for remaining a Phillies fan. I can't remember, though: is it the baseball team or the blunts that you like?
Blunts.
being a chicago fan, this series sucks. it could only suck worse if, say, the stankees made it (thank you, jeebus!) or the indians.
Well, I saw none of the series. And I'm not beating myself up about it.
is it over?
honestly, you'd think someone would tell me.
seriously, who won?
Some team from one of the flyover states.
