As it is with books, rarely do I buy video games around their release dates. It's just so much cheaper to wait (and also like books, I have a huge stack of infrequently-played games). Anyway, this year the King of All Cosmos made me his bitch.

I've been Final Fantasy X's bitch for months now...
My nephew just got a DS and I played Super Mario Bros. on it - SWEET! Almost made me want to buy one just so I could play that game (at work).

DS is freaking ADDICTIVE. I have Super Mario and I LURVE it. I'm also a slave to my Nintendogs, Greta and Denny.
I used to be a DDR addict, but I've been afraid to use it for months thanks to the World's Shittiest Neighbor. Don't worry, though; I'm saving up for a party or two this summer, *to which I will be entitled*!!
jasdye - The Nanny State Anti-Smoking Zealots quashed it. But carjacking and killing prostitutes is still cool.
law fairy - They make games for the DS other than SMB?! Actually, I played "Metroid" and couldn't get into it. Bet the DS is good for your downtime at the law firm.
As for DDR, rock the house. It is your right as an American. I thought of you when I saw this scene of this otherwise bad movie.

I lurve the Sims 2, but I go through long stretches of not playing and then hardcore phases. Right now, I haven't touched the game in months. Guess I'm due.
