"Simpson" on (virtual) demand. Must be nice. Me, I have to suffer through "My Wife and Kids" and "Bernie Mac" at the time I'm normally accustomed to watch my favorite Springfieldiens.
at least it's not northeastern oklahoma, where - when i visit my folks, i get none of that in syndi. i think it's all Jeff Foxworthy, all the time.
i'm liking "my wife and kids", but it's no classic simpsons.
in chicago, we got three episodes a day, and then they moved the earliest (5) aside to make room for another hilarious installment of 'yes, dear.' ha-ha. (by the way, i'm only speaking of free tv syndication)
they're supposed to bring the Simpsons to thrice daily. and w/o a moment to spare.
micah, you need to step up your TiVO game. Either that or download all the seasons from tha interweb pirates. relying on network television to provide a program that has been running a decade strong...weak.
jasdye - I'm jealous (of your Chicago TV schedule, not the Oklahoma one).
THSE - I have all of the DVD season sets they've put out thus far, but it's just something about a random episode being "on" at any given time that will get me to watch (The "Ocean's Elven" Syndrome).
I had a DVR in Columbus. I'm undergoing DTs right now (especially since my VCR ate a tape today; guess I can catch repeats of Friday's "Colbert Report" and "The Soup" sometime).
THSE - It's worse than the flights I've been on after going first class. I've given up watching shows I normally DVRed due to conflicts and such ("Commander in Chief", "Everybody Hates Chris", "Boston Legal", etc.). It has brought my TV viewing way down, so I guess it's not all bad.
