Turning Japanese (I really think so)

If I never get a job, if I never have a fulfilling relationship, if I never meet any personal and professional goals that I've set for myself, there is only one reason...

Sudoku is just something to kill time. "Katamari Damacy" is consuming my life. It gets the award for the Most Japanese Thing I've Ever Bought*.

The music rocks.

What is it about? I see cows on that image...do they make milk chocolate?

Oh I get it...Katamari is Japanese for "Eat Mor Chikin."

dukez24 - The description is deceptively simple: all of the stars are gone so the King of All Cosmos sends you (his son) to make more. Under a time limit, you roll objects up to a certain radius and then they are sent to the sky. Sounds kinda blah, but it's really fun, especially when your katamari (ball) starts out so small it can barely pick up a button, but then you get it big enough to pick up buildings. At $20 (for the PS2 version), it's a steal. Get it.

And, it's oh-so-Japanese: the colors, the quirkiness, the music.

spydrz - The only thing the cows make are "moo"s when you roll them up.

Don't tell PETA about the cows. They'll come after you.

PETA? P'shaw! I can handle them. If they send Pam Anderson my way, I'll take care of her.

despite the press the fine folks at save a cow, PET A dog are getting these days, i don't think that Ms. Anderson does much actual foot work for those corps.

you may find their actual staff to be less, how shall we say, pleasing to the eyes and other senses.

Believe you me, I am under no impression that the rank and file of these loony groups look anything like their celebrity spokespeople.

PETA bothers me a lot. Penn & Teller's "Bullshit!" episode about this organization should be required viewing.
