Walk the Line was indeed an amazing film. For once, I've seen most of the films on an award list...
And nary a gay cowboy in it!
Even under the horrendous viewing conditions (extreme front row), I was able to see the greatness of the movie. I can only imagine what it'd be like if I saw it from a proper distance. And I still need to get that damn poster.

I agree with the assessment of Walk The Line. I was expecting a disjointed try-to-squeeze-a-whole-life-into-two-hours thing, and I was expected to dislike Joaquin Phoenix--as I usually do. But I thought it was really good. And I was high on Sour Patch Kids at the time.
Hey Micah! I linked to your blog from Kate the Greats...nice! Haven't seen Walk the Line although it appears I need to for the Oscar buzz surrounding it...Narnia is great. If you read the books like I did as a child it will be everything you hoped it would.

Personally, I've never understood the concept of sour candy. Isn't candy supposed to give you a pleasurable sensation?
