The season premiere of "The Shield" is tonight. Sunday is the return of "24." Vic Mackey. Jack Bauer. It's a wonderful time to be a TV viewer with a thing for law enforcement types who don't play by the rules (but get results, dammit!).
I cannot wait for 24 to be on. Just think 4 hours on Sunday and Monday. What a great show. Hopefully it is more like season 4 and less like season 3. :)
Yeah, "The Shield" is a lot like "The Commish," only there's less hair and more cussing.
Obligatory Jim Gaffigan quote: "My favorite channel is the Lifetime channel because Lifetime is 'Television for women. Lifetime, television for women.' Yet for some reason, there's always a woman getting beaten on that network. 'Meredith Baxter gets beaten by a rod, in the Lifetime Original, 'Rod.'"
gmadrid - I'm hoping for quality, too (Kim's a cutie, but a total idiot - a cougar?). Honestly, I'm just glad to have it back. It could suck eggs and I'd still watch.
