Further proof that I need a girlfriend, I dominated three games of "Shout About Movies"* at the party last night - one of which was just me against a team of four other people. If only I could use my powers for good.
*Which, incidentally, is hosted by the dude who played "Arthur" on the short-lived, but great show "The Tick".

What? You weren't watching the Bengals lose last night? I've never seen a town so depressed since the Wildcats lost the Championship to Arizona in triple overtime in 97. I have officially hopped on the Bengals Bandwagon...
Fool, you have long since exhausted the need for proof in this matter. But you know what? I have you beat (at least this weekend); Slim and I arrived in Baltimore six hours before doors opened for the Suicide Girls Burlesque on saturday night. No, we didn't take in the city or find some place to chill out. We slept in the car and staked out the building, then we began our line stand at 1800hrs (3hrs before doors opened). Oh yeah, and it was cold and raining.
KtG - NFL? It ain't my bag, baby.
THSE - Okay, maybe you've got me this time. But my two current passions? Smoking my pipe and playing "X-Men Legends." That's how sad it's become.
How was the show? SG are great. Some are REALLY attractive. Others, not so much.
SG was pretty fuckin' cool. We've seen the live show three times now. Although I said I think I'm getting too old to get there early and what not, depending on the line-up I might find the strength to do it again on the next go-round. If I'm not seeing anyone, then I probably will commit to it.
Yeah, you and I sound a lot alike these days. I'm not down with the pipe smoking, but Xmen Legends sounds hot. LOTR: The Third Age stole many hours of my life recently. I was so into it that I wanted to make a t-shirt that read LEVEL UP! (if you've played the game, then you know what I'm talking about). As it stands, I just scrawled the phrase across a dirty undershirt using a black sharpie that was nearby. That was a lot easier than going to a print shop and talking to people. Anything to keep from having to talk to people.
And I'm losing my hair.
That's awesome (about the shirt, not your hair). Ask Phil about his "Worth the 1,000,000 credits" shirt.
I know what you mean about Level Up. XML is an action RPG game (first I've ever played) and it's quite the thrill when I can boost my dudes' powers. I've been curious about the LOTR games, as I've heard that they are good and I really love the movies. But I'd want to play them all to completion and there's - what? - 4 games? I don't know if I could handle that much time. I just bought XML on Friday and so far it has completely sucked my three day weekend away.
I'm a dork.
Don't get me started on Trivial Pursuit.
