New addition to the fam

There's a new member of my family: a 4 month old pomeranian. My mom, who has a proclivity towards ankle-biting breeds, got him last week.

I unwittingly named him by calling him "Buddy" the first time that I saw him. Little does my mom know that I refer to all pets as "buddy" when I don't know their names. But she liked it, so the name stuck.

And what is my Grandma's dog Sonny's reaction to having a puppy in the house? This picture speaks volumes:

He's less than thrilled. And demonically possessed, I think.

Does he sneeze a lot?

Mindy - Welcome back!

spydrz - Aside from the size, this dog's the anti-Bernie. No sneezing, no yipping, very social...

Oh yeah - Mindy, let me guess: you're watching the "Law & Order" marathon on TNT right now.

You should be watching the "24" marathon on A&E.

I always wanted Chris Noth's leather coat.

Just got back from running some errands (Staples, the bank, yet another exchange at Old Navy) and switched to "24." I'm feeling nostalgic for February.

RW is definitely a cutie. I meant to see Constantine when it was in theaters, but never got around to it. I'll watch it someday.

Whoa!

CB - Well, based on the fact that the ONLY movie that I can think of involves copious amounts of bowling is The Big Lebowski, I'd have to go for that one (that and I just Googled the quote). Yeah, I'm way overdue for another viewing of the film that popped my DVD cherry.

i don't remember that quote, or the dog. course i only watched it once.

"popped my DVD cherry"?

and both dogs have the Ghostbusters green eyes.

CB was the first in our crew to get a DVD player - way back in 1999 (and he was a college student). Anyway, he showed us his new toy and the first movie I ever watched on DVD was The Big Lebowski. Now you know. And knowing is half the battle.

Well, two things, first, I wonder if the pomeranian will have the same, um, "reaction" to me as the other little ankle-biter had. I guess they CAN sense evil.

Secondly, Micah, had I been on the mainland at the time of its release (how delightfully island-sounding huh?) we would have seen Constantine for sure. I do miss having a "geek movie" buddy.

There's no telling. There hasn't been an Evil Presence as strong as yours around him yet.

Get back to the States soon. This week I'm planning on going to see The Fantastic Four...by myself.

Well, i might, and I say again, might, be back in the C-bus for a few days round X-mas time, but I can't make any promises.

Oh, and thanks for capitalizing "Evil Presence." So few people remember that it is a title and not just a descriptive term. It took quite a few years at "Evil Finishing School" to get it.

Not soon enough. I may no longer be living in Cowtown around Christmas.

I didn't spend 3 years in Evil Law School to be called "mister."

Speaking of first DVD players, care to remember your first player Micah?

That would be the Oritron - the pride of Chinese manufacturing. What a piece of crap.
